Fendi Fashion show- MENS collection Autumn-Winter 2016/17 in Milan (with interview)

Comfort takes priority at Fendi, with a menswear collection that stands out more and more and a revival of the 70s revisited with modernity.Designer: Silvia Venturini FendiDecor: A soft carpeted stage with a spiral staircase inspired by a photo of an interior built by the architect Gio PontiSilhouette: Cocooning, soft like the bathrobe coats knotted at the waist, or printed silk pajamas setsFabrics: Fur, mink, shearling, curly wool, silk and printed and knit Accessories: A peekaboo bag with humorous patterns, lined moccasins worn as indoor slippers, fur sneakers.Colours: Anthracite grey, black, brown and touches of sky blue, pink, red and neon yellowTo note:The suit jacket in mink and the shearling coat in a marquetry wayInterview from Silvia Venturini Fendi:I was very inspired by home life and everyday life. At home everybody is connected to the outside world. Today we work hard at home, so that's why I think there are desires of pajamas, dressing gowns loungewear and Bed wear.I was very inspired by a series of photos I saw where there are pictures of people in everyday life but wearing masks made by a fantastic illustrator called Saul Steinberg.These pictures also inspired me for the accessories; I recreated masks and the faces by using the components of the bags.The Fendi man has an interesting evolution so the collection is becoming richer and stronger so it is a complete collection I’d say.Music of the show
