Fashion Agenda 2016: The big Haute Couture moments with three new invited members

The end of January will mark the biannual haute couture rendezvous in Paris, the only city in the world to organise a special fashion week to present the made to measure pieces showing off craftsmen and couturiers. Although Dior, with no artistic director, will present a collection revealed in its studio, the big houses like Chanel, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Valentino, Maison Margiela led by John Galliano will definitely be there to show their latest spring/summer 2016 collection, just like the foreign invited members who always make us dream, including Giorgio Armani, Versace and Elie Saab. And this season includes three new invited members to the official calendar.First of all Iris Van Herpen. Already well known in the field, winning the Andam prize in 2014, this Dutch designer, aged 31, stuns us by her sculptural designs, her 3D impressions and her mastery of technical and innovative fabrics. Yacine Aouadi originally from Marseille with a discreet charm, will always tell us his magical stories through mixing fantasy and enchantment for dresses in precious details. It’s a date for only his second collection. Finally Guo Pei, artist-designer who sculpts her dresses into becoming true works of art. Already exhibited in museums, made even more famous by the renowned yellow dress-cape worn by Rihanna, the designer set up her studio in Paris, surrounds herself with talented artisans from China and will be a sensation in Paris with an official show as a guest member.Music free of right / Bandit & Nikit 2015
